I've been an art teacher at a school in Harrogate for 12 years, having studied Graphic Design at the University of Leeds and completed a PGCE in Art at the University of Chester. I wanted to find more time to create my own art work. March 2020 arrives, and under lockdown I started creating artwork for myself, and also for others. So TomDrewIt was born, bringing joy to myself and to others through my artwork under difficult circumstances and strange times.
Away from art and design I also enjoy playing rugby, cricket and football, and I keep active running and doing indoor and outdoor gym sessions. I love the challenge of a Tough Mudder or similar obstacle runs and am hoping to get more involved in cycling and paddle boarding. I love all things food and drink, and enjoy the creative process of preparing, cooking and presenting meals. I'm also a very keen Skier!
